A small landscape from the trip to Colorado in November 2011. As  I was going south to Pueblo Colorado it was cold overcast and snowing. This painting is based on some photographs from that trip but I added some light changes to the ground to give it more interest and warm up the picture.

When its cold out and snowy like today you like to paint the same cold and snow. Its easier than a sunny and green landscape which I will be doing later this week.
